I enjoyed this series

I probably did it backwards, not sure if it matters, but I read HER first and just finished HIM. It was so interesting to get both of their point of view. Love this series. Very hot and steamy. Now I have to read THEM.

loved loved the series. I am so inlove with Will! narration is perfect!!! I loved the whole story line from her eyes to his. first time I read a book like this. I hope I can find more series like this!

Very Good Series!

I was offered a free copy of this book for my honest opinion.
I give this book 4 stars! I love it when you get to see how things are perceived from the woman’s point of view “Him” and then you get to see it from how he perceived the same things “Her”! Two great books! If you’re anything like me you would want to read them back to back. Either way two great reads!

Her

This was my favorite of the two books. The first book HIM, felt repetitive. I believed this version more. Loved it! Friends to lovers. Romantic and sweet. HEA

Why two books?

Her and Him should have been one book using the title of “Us”, perhaps.
This entire book except for the last 3-4 chapters was a repeat of Her, just told by Will. I didn’t really learn anything new, no wrap up to how a hurtful text message got sent to Sarah that supposedly was from Will’s phone or who actually sent it. Except for getting to listen to Christian Fox, this audio was a waste of time.

His Side of the Story

Carey Heywood was a new author for me when I read book one, Him. Both books, Him and Her had been sitting in my Audible library untouched for a while. I needed something new so I settled on this Duet and they were delightful. The writing is good and the narration was perfect for these stories. Her is Will’s story. It is definitely a coming of age story with lots of teenage angst dealing with a teen boy’s love and sexual awakening which had some charming and touching moments. Will is not just a teenage horn dog though there is a bit of that. He is the most popular boy in school who is falling in love its his best friend, Sarah. Sarah is a bit of a wallflower who has secretly loved Will since the moment they met. The book has many misunderstandings and lies as many romance novels are. Over the course of the story both Sarah and Will grow up, become decent humans and gain success in their careers. The characters are strong and interesting. The secondary characters are well written and add much to the main characters lives and stories. The women are a little bit stereotypical in the high school era but less so as they grew up. Now a word about the narration. In book two Christian Fox reminded me of why I think had has one of the sexiest voices in audiobook narration today. The subtle yet distinct changes in Will as he matures were perfect. By the end of the book I was ready for the cold shower. I am late to the game with this author but plan to read more of her work. She has too few books in audiobook format and I hope more of her work is recorded over time.

VERY GOOD SERIES

I loved the idea of hearing both sides of thecstory on this gone south love story. There was only 2,details not addressed or answered in either book. The Where, who & how did the text message come from …that sarah read & why did her boyfriend smile when he saw an incoming call from his ex-girlfriend ? Neither of those facts were investigated or answered. They were just ignored by Sarah’s boyfriend. Seems to me that he got off the hook too easily on those issues. Seems that should have been put to rest in at least one of the books. Narrator was very good!

Terrible!

This book jumps past to present back to past then present. I found this book lacking in the bedroom. I won’t waist my time on the other book. It’s the same story but in his words.

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT

The first book disappointed me, but I thought maybe it would get better so I got this one. No luck, if Book one was dissapointing then book 2 was REALLY disappointing. All this was is Book one, this time from his perspective. No interested, it was boring to me.
