Not where I expected it to go

First just let me say this really wasn't my cup of tea. I really just couldn't get into the story. That being said, the narrator's performance was very well done. The characters are well written, and their individual personalities come across wonderfully. The story was well put together and well written. I liked the original plotline idea. Overall, even if it wasn't really my thing, I would recommend it as a read. It was entertaining and I don't regret giving it a listen.

Demons are real and a real worry.

This book reminded me that demons are real, and even if they aren’t the same as they are in this book, there’s definitely something to be worried about. This is a great book. At first I had a bit of trouble keeping up with what was going on, but it didn’t take long for me to figure it out. I highly recommend it, and can’t wait for the next! Sarah Clancy has done a great job, as usual!

Great 1st book in a new series

Get ready for a wild ride. I am not one to like any kind of book that has a demon in it but really the story is about 3 siblings who are trying to right a horrible wrong and all the things they face while doing this. The narration is fabulous. Highly recommend

Wonderfully terrifying

I was given this advance copy free and I'm freely leaving my honest review. I love reading anything by this author she has a back for pulling you into the story. this was very hard to walk a way from good thing you don't have to cause its on audio the narration was spot on you can't miss with this book.

Shadow Demons

This may not have been Clancy’s best but still enjoyable. I enjoyed the characters of Shrike, Lark and Wren all sibling (with special abilities)s on seeking revenges for their father’s killer which one he even saved but should have let him die as he is evil. Did they kill or not? Look forward to next book for some answers and more adventures of the characters. There did seem to repetitive spots and a bit slow to start but then took off with demons and shadows.

Action, scares, and interesting characters

Good world and main character introductions. Engaging characters, interesting and creepy premise. Generally a fun and eerie story, and definitely interested in more from the series!

Really great horror story written by a very gifted writer. Well written and performed. Highly enjoyable.
