Das Waisenmädchen Heidi lebt bei ihrem Großvater in den Schweizer Bergen. Mit 8 Jahren wird sie nach Frankfurt, zu dem auf den Rollstuhl angewiesenen Mädchen Klara, zur Unterhaltung gebracht. Die beiden Mädchen freunden sich an. Doch das große Heimweh macht Heidi krank und sie wird zurück zu ihrem Großvater gebracht. Eines Tages kommt Klara in die Berge zu Heidi. Durch das gesunde Klima, dem unbekümmerten Jungen Peter und der Lebensfreude von Heidi lernt Klara das Gehen.
Tina Haseney spricht die Geschichte so lebendig, dass es für manchen kaum vorstellbar ist, dass sie bereits 1880/81 entstandenen ist. Diese herzergreifende Geschichte ist ab 8 Jahren geeignet.

Not in English - Useless for us
I had bought the version of Heidi published by Sterling - ENGLISH - on Amazon. I clicked on the audio version and got this. Paid money for it and now I'm stuck with German. Sucks - not happy.
