Great Psychic Primer

I enjoyed this book, I found it very interesting and held your interest from the beginning all the way through. If you like the paranormal then you will like the book.

I would recommend this book to a friend as a good resorce for introducing them to the subject matter. Easy to understand and follow, a good "first" for your metaphysical library.

This book is a light, not too deep resorce for someone just begining to educate themselves in the world of sprituality.

I will be listening to it again I found it lifted my spirits and put me in a thoughtful mind

I enjoyed it. Good for beginners just delving in and would like an overview. Worth it for me.

Great Insight to Beginning Intuitives

Would you consider the audio edition of Heaven and Earth to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the book, but enjoyed the audio edition. I was surprised that it was actually James Van Praagh reading it and found it even more enjoyable.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Heaven and Earth?

I particularly enjoyed explanation of the different types of psychic abilities. I like how he went into detail and gave examples. James also does a good job in encouraging correct action for those who are beginners and also examples of what not to do and why.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt much better after reading this book, I had been experiencing clairaudience experiences all my life but tried not to pay too much attention or encourage the ability for fear of attracting the wrong energies.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed listening to this on my way to work, at the gym and other activities. I think James' message, taken for what it is (advice) is very powerful. We'll never be sure that things work 100% the way they are interpreted but its a good interpretation nonetheless.

Another great book by James

Listening to this audiobook enticed me to purchase the hardbound copy!! I really enjoy his spirit. He is a great teacher. Just from listening to him you want to be a better human in all ways 💓

Odd Title

The title of this book was misleading to me. I had just read Echo Bodine's book about heaven called "Echos of the Soul", (which I highly recommend) and was looking for another book about heaven that I could listen to. Since Echo Bodine mentions James Van Praagh in her book I naturaly gravitated towards this book. Unfortunately for me it was not what I expected nor what I was looking for. It is a book about his psychic abilities. It is also a book that explains the basics about everthing to do with mediumship (communication with the dead), developing psychic abilities in yourself, auras, aura protection, the supernatural, etc. If you are looking for Supernatural Studies 101, this is the book for you. Enjoy!

A great book with basic steps to help

I read this book as I needed somewhere to start with this author. I learned his story and how he got where he's at and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it because I began to apply what he teaches here. If you combine this book with Develop your psychic skills. by Effen Dugan you have a power tool at your disposal. Between the two you will learn that hard work does pay off and you'll need it for this field if you want to do readings for people or yourself. The part I didn't like was some of the side stories which didn't resonate with me or my own experiences. Hey, you can't have a perfect score all the time, but you can have a great teacher!
