I rang to update him on the investigation into Crystal’s murder, my only concern to give the biker closure for the death of his wife. I didn’t expect to be talking to someone who was suicidal, nor that I would have to expose the loss in my own life to talk him down from the ledge.

I didn’t expect we’d become friends. I’m a cop, the natural enemy of the Satan’s Devils MC. They hated me when I called on them to help Heart, but if I couldn’t involve them, he’d end up dead. If it wasn’t for me, he’d no longer be breathing. But cops and bikers don’t mix. Feelings don’t even come into it. Even our friendship must come to an end.

This is a story of the process of grieving with violent and sexy scenes that may be upsetting to some listeners and should therefore not be listened to by anyone under the age of 18.

I loved listening to this audio! This is part of the Satan's Devils MC series which if you haven’t listened to any stories in this series I highly suggest doing so. It is a fast paced story that took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life with the different tones of voice. They made the story easy to listen to and had me coming back for more. Heart has lost his wife, his soulmate and now he is on a road of destruction. He is a broken man. When the cop who is investigating his wife's murder calls, things could change for him. Can a cop and a biker be friends? I highly recommend this audio. You don’t want to miss what happens in this story.

Heart Broken (Satan's Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett

Heart Broken is the fifth book in the Satan’s Devils Series This is a MC Romance that once you start listening you won’t want to stop. I highly recommend listening to the other’s in this series if you haven’t already. They are just as good as this one and the narrator does a wonderful job of bringing the characters and story to life. I could listen to him all day long. Just when I thought this Series couldn’t get any better then this one comes along. Get ready to be taken on quite the emotional rollercoaster ride. This is a story about Heart, he’s on the road of destruction after losing the love of his life his wife. He's very broken. Then comes along the guy who is investigating his wives murder . Can these two be friends? This a fast paced story that had my emotions all over the place.I highly recommend listening to this fast paced story to find out what happens next ? I can’t wait to listen to more books by this author.

Love through Grief

If I didn’t already love this series, this installment would have cemented these characters in my heart. The loving touch of a friend and the spirit of a treasured spouse getting Heart through his dark days so that he could be a better father, friend, brother, and partner. Don’t get me wrong, I was super angry at Heart for treating Marc like he did. But my heart broke for him more than once during this book.

I loved hearing the backstory to the club and how things have changed. If I haven’t already said that I LOVE this series, I do. The mixture of steam, justice, family, and friendship is amazing. Sure it is wrapped up in a big, burly, swear-laden biker and MC but that just adds a whole lot of fun and flavor!!!

Another stellar addition to the series.

Even a broken heart can be fixed

Another great book in the series and this by far is my favorite. Following Heart after he is voted out as a Ronan, he chooses to travel his late wife's road trip. Along the way he starts talking to Mark, one of the investigators for his and Crystals accident, where it becomes evident, she was meant to be in his life. This book brings one surprise after another while bringing hope and love. Fantastic!

Heart Tugger

Oh my! The author always writes such heart wrenching and heartwarming books. This is another winner in the audio files. The narrators again do a terrific job of presenting Hear and Marc's story. I was on the edge of my seat at time's. Heart did such a good job staying straight edged when she gave her updates and surprised when he found that Drummer paved the way for him to get through the time on the road. Heart really was going through a very tough time. Marc tried to help him and to also solve this murder. The whole dang department seemed on the take. She gets an A from me for perseverance.. They had challenges to face and face them they did.. These two sure seemed meant to be. Strong emotions, heart felt pain made this story so raw and vulnerable. The narrators brought it out and I give it a bit 5 stars.

Heart and Marc

An emotionally endearing, intense and intriguing rise to go on with Heart and Marc. Everything wasn’t all sunshine and roses, their road was definitely rocky but the connection they developed was simply beautiful. I enjoyed every single moment of this story. Narration is perfection.

I am 100% obsessed with the Satan’s Devils.  The members of this MC are absolutely the best of the best of the bad boys.  They may come across as intimidating and scary but when they find their soulmates they are brought to their knees and will do anything to make their loves happy.

Though one book it could have been two with as different as the halves were.

Beginning is Heart going on his Ronin journey after losing his wife.   How gets through the beginning stages of his grief and does some serious soul searching.  Definitely not an easy journey.

Then there is the second half which had so much happen and kept me listening even when I had things to get done.

Once again Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister brought to life my favorite MC in an amazing way.

Looking forward to the next book which will have me almost caught up.

Satan's Devils ride again

Here is another fast paced, suspenseful, emotional rollercoaster. I didn't think this author could break me down again. I thought she had done her worst. I was wrong! This is a continuation of Heart's story. While out on his own for 6 months, all he wants is to be with Crystal. He is so angry and the cops are doing nothing to find her murderer. But there is Marc, a detective who is getting no help from the dirty cops she is stuck working with. Something is rotten, and she is getting the dirty end of it all. There will be no spoilers here! You have to read it for yourself. This author has continued to write stories for the Satan's Devils MC and the strength the characters must endeavor. I was captured before the first chapter ended. Had even cried before chapter 2 began. I recommend you start this series at Book 1. Meet the characters and their places in this story. This is an audible book and the narrators are fantastic. Listening to this story makes it so much more intense. I Love This Series and the Author who wrote it.

Loved it!

I loved this book. It was a great story, and my emotions were all over the place! I have not read the previous books in the series. I didn't feel lost, but I can't wait to go back and read them! I really like the Motorcycle Club and Cop becoming friends, especially because it's "forbidden" in the motorcycle club world. I can't wait to see what happens next, but first I have to catch up on the books before this one. Give it a listen or read, you won't be disappointed! The narrators did a great job telling this story. It was told in such a way that kept me hooked the entire time!

Great Story of Heart & Marc

Wow!! I loved this story… especially since Heart is part of the Satan’s Devils MC and Marc is a cop. At first Marc is trying to help investigate a terrible accident that invoked Heart and his late wife Crystal.. but what becomes an investigation leads into a friendship of Marc and Heart but also sinister plot against Marc….along with some hot scenes between Marc and Heart but also grief, doubt and sadness with Both characters and their stories. This was a great story to listen to.
