The author describes how through a true encounter with God, you can heal those wounds, overcome your fears, and be a healthy, full, and happy person.
Inner peace is possible, and is achieved through:
- Believing that God is real, and that he is almighty in the face of life's adversities.
- Knowing that God more than rewards us for everything we have lost, whether due to injustice or envy. Through his grace, he restores what we cannot obtain because of our sins and our own humanity.
- Recognizing that, even if we fall into sin, God forgives us and shows us his grace and power.
- Overcoming feelings of guilt, which can lead to physical illnesses.
The stories shared in this book show the power of prayer, the importance of discovering your life's mission, and how God's help is vital to overcoming your fears.
