Insultingly short
Loved the first story, and was revved for #2. Unfortunately, book two's cliff hanger comes too soon. The story feels cut off. It is just getting into the guts of the relationships when the surprising ending hits. For a seasoned author like CM Stunich, it's a bit of a surprise. I would expect more development, and a cliff hanger is never appreciated. Make the story longer, and avoid iritating readers/listeners!
I will follow this story, but I've been turned off by the abrupt cliff hanger, so I will not read/listen to other series from this author.

I absolutely love this story. The world building continues to be amazing. The spice and angst are top notch. The cliff hanger has kept me salivating for more! I have been on the edge of my seat since the first time I read it and I’ve reread it a number of times. This audio book definitely reignited my need for more.

Huge cliff!!
This author is AMAZING!! Fantastic world building, multiple characters that grow and change throughout the story as she builds multiple relationships!! It was so good I was unable to do anything in my life but dive into this story! Unfortunately I didn’t realize when I started it, the next book hasn’t been completed, there isn’t even a release date!! It was like being stabbed when I realized it had ended and there is no moving on!! As much as I have loved it, had I know it wasn’t completed I likely wouldn’t have started the book!! Per the author’s website, she’s going to complete it…
