Great Narration by Sir Fry

I love the narration in these releases of the books. My only gripe is a production issue and has nothing to do with Stephen Fry. As it isn’t enough to remove a star I won’t even mention it so as to not bother others if they haven’t noticed.

Definitive Version

In my opinion, out of all Wizarding World content, the Stephen Fry narrated books are the perfect way to take in the entire Harry Potter saga.

WONDERFUL

This has always been my favorite book in the series, but listening to the Stephen Fry narration was a whole new level of joy and delight! I loved every word, every moment, and every scene of every chapter! What a treasure! Thank you for allowing the Stephen fry narrations in the USA!!!

Plot twists and time travel. These novels are growing up. The narration is perfect. Voice like butter!

Fabulous Writing and Excellent Reading

Each time I listen to Fry read, it is as though I am transported into the wonderful world built by Rowling. Excellent!

Stephen Fry does it again

Stephen Fry does a fantastic job!

There are some people who are born to do something world changing. What would this world be like without JK Rowling and her contribution to literature? I’m so grateful for her books in my life and my children’s lives. This truly is the best book series ever. It’s great for both kids and adults.
I’m also glad Stephen Fry did the narration this time. The previous narrator, Jim Dale, was good but I believe Fry’s acting ability brings more warmth to the story. I almost want to describe Dale’s version as “more British” if that makes sense. Also for some reason Dale’s narration of Hermione was read with a bit of a speech impediment, like her R’s sounded like W’s. That means Dale’s Hermione would call Harry “Ha-wee”. Anyway, I’m enjoying Fry’s narration so much that I don’t mind repurchasing all the books just to hear him read it.
