Stephen Fry is an amazing narrator! He does an amazing job differentiating between each characters’ voice!

The epilogue was just amazing & a beautiful way to end the series.

LOVED IT ALL & cannot wait to read the Fantastic Beasts series; plus everything else Potter-Verse related.

Mr. Stephen Fry’s BEST Reading out of all 7 Harry Potter Books

Stephen Fry’s performance as the narrator in the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in J. K. Rowling’s beloved Harry Potter Books, was his best. This Book 7 of the 7 Harry Potter Books was Mr. Fry’s LAST CHANCE, and his performance was truly outstanding. The emotional expression, his conveyance of the the character and plot development, were SO MUCH BETTER than Mr. Fry delivered in his readings of books 1-4.

I’ve read and listened to the Harry Potter series more times than I can count. Stephen Fry’s rendition breathes new life and zest into these beloved stories.

Stephen Fry’s best performance.

Stephen Fry absolutely killed it performance wise in this book. I feel like he really had the vibe of all of the characters at this point and gave it his all. He really added so much to an already incredible book series.

I love this book, and I think the story was very good overall, but I wish the final book was a bit longer after how detailed book 5 & 6 were. I also feel like the ending is a little anticlimactic. By the time I got to the end I remembered feeling the same way the first time I read it. It felt like the final stretch was not given as much consideration as everything up to that point. It just concludes without going into details I really had hoped for, leaving me desiring more and feeling really sad it ended. Maybe she was just done writing lol.

With that being said, it’s still an amazing series and absolutely worth listening to.

Satisfying conclusion over all.

I have always felt the last book in the series was quite dark for the targeted audience. That hasn't changed and the only reason for the four stars in the Story category is for just how dark it is. I consider myself a Harry Potter fan from when I picked up The Sorcerer's Stone when the series first starting coming out. I was in my thirty's at the time and have been happy to go back through the series again every so often, that includes watching the movies. I was grateful for the opportunity to visit the series from a different perspective via the talents of Stephen Fry and that's not to take anything away from Jim Davis. Thank you Ms Rowling.

what's not to like?

It is Rowling and Fry. What's not to like. One of the beauties of this series is it gives the reader/listenee a feel for the life cycles of the characters. it does that like a first rate Eulogy.

I really need Stephen Fry to read all my audio books. His voices for each character were delightful.
