Showed great promise but did not deliver
Overall, this was a disappointing book. It contained so much flowery language and repetition that one could have trimmed about half of the words away and not noticed anything missing from the text. The book started out strong, detailing the legends and lore of the Celtic festivals that became the holiday we know now as Halloween. Sadly, the book became a vividly repetitive description of Halloween to the present time, with no new concepts brought in to flesh out an already slim volume.
