Annoying

I wanted to like this book but the female lead sounded condescending and found her character manipulative. Therefore ruined this for me, the male lead was such a good guy and should not be with that nosy b$&ch!

Loved This Sweet & Quirky Couple

Lauren Rowe is back with the book that we never thought we would get! Henn and Hannah have long been fan favorites as side characters and a critical part of a wonderful found family. I loved finally hearing the full journey of this sweet and quirky couple! (Note, this book is a standalone that can easily be read without reading any of the previous books.)

While Henn and Hannah fall very fast, it feels natural like two puzzle pieces fitting together. However, they must face some challenges and deal with their baggage before they can have a chance at forever. Henn and Hannah’s story focuses on finding the one that you are meant to be with and the important role of communication and trust in a relationship.

I already know this book is one that I will listen to over and over again. It is sweet, funny, and entertaining, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments mixed with the steam that you expect from this author.

5 Stars is not enough.

If you’re a Lauren Rowe fan and have been wanting for the book that would never be written. Wait no more and you will not be disappointed. For fans, you know Henn has done a lot for his friends and we get to see Henn’s side of all those things. We also know Henn and Hannah are two peas in a pod and now we get a front row seat on all the good stuff. I feel like Lauren should have ended the book a la Paul Harvey with “and now you know the rest of the story”.

If you have not ready any or all of Lauren’s books fear not, there are no spoilers in “Hacker in Love”. Which had to be a feat for Lauren to accomplish given how Henny is woven into some major parts of the other books. This fact takes nothing away from this book, because you don’t know what you don’t know. Those things aren’t key to this book.

No exaggeration, i pretty much had a permanent smile on my face while I listened to this book. As for the audio, it’s tough to beat a John Lane - Lily Reynolds narration. Those two are magic together.

Easy peasey Lemon squeezey

I love everything Lauren Rowe does. So needlessly couldn’t wait to have my ears listen to this one!

It was awesome to have both points of view of both Peter Hennessy (Henn) and Hannah Bananas points of views here. Like ma y of us die hard fans of the Rowe. This one didn’t disappoint.

I laughed, cried and swooned my way through it and of course was left with an bright smile at the end.

I really enjoyed seeing how all of the characters were brought into the fold as we heard Henn and Hannah’s love story.

The audio was great. John lane is as always awesome and I believe that I know who Lily Reynolds was and always enjoy her voice.

Honestly anything Lauren does is fabulous and can be listened to as a standalone but she has interconnected characters in her books so you’re going to want to hear everything she has to it.

Congrats Lauren.

Not the Best

I hate saying this but this one was hard to listen to. I actually skipped parts to get to the end. The story itself wasn’t as engaging to me and narration fell flat. Other books the narrators brought the characters to life and there was so much emotion. In this one I felt like someone was just reading to me with little variation in tone between emotions and characters. I love the world LR has created but this book was just ok.

So much fun

Walking around listening to this I realized I had a wide smile on my face the whole time. This was just delightful. Great banter, fun and unique characters, swoony romance. I also enjoyed the fan service of all the characters from Rowe’s previous series (you wouldn’t have to know those stories to appreciate their presence, it just made it that much richer). This was light fare but also had enough grounding to give it substance. Just a thoroughly enjoyable listen and well worth the credit I spent on it.

Good Story - Loved Hen (Hannah not so much!

I love this series. I really liked Hen and how raw and honest about who he is and how he recognizes his quirkiness. Hannah, I started out liking but the more the story went, I really started disliking her. She was so suspicious of Hen and seemed to be looking for ways to stop the relationship and blame it on Hen. She wanted to be the victim so bad and used a great guy to do that. gag. She was quirky and that is what I liked in the beginning as how she and Hen were so compatible. She blames him for mistrust but really, she is the one who was so full of miss-trust. I was rooting for Hen to fire back and say that to her, that's how mad I was at her. Physically yelling at her as I was listening to her rhetoric. Really felt sorry for Hen at this part of the story. I like the characters of this series and Hen is and will remain one of my favorite characters but Hannah, not so much. What a hypocrite. I have to admit it makes me hesitant to read the rest and just be satisfied with who I know and their stories to this point.

Hacker in Love

What a great story! Lauren Rowe is such a good writer. Her love, sex, scenes are wonderfully explicit and the different members of the Morgan’s you will fall in love with. Now want to listen again to Reeds adventures. Nothing slow or boring about all her wonderful stories.

I needed this today!!

I love Lauren's works! Her characters are so spot on with half of the personalities of me and my friends in real life that i feel like they are family. This story is so hard hitting for me.I am one of those party girls best friends who married the computer nerd in real life so me and my husband are smile and laughing throughout this book. Its a wonderful book but i agree with another listener that while John lane is amazing his voice is too strong and deep for a nerd...lol but still an amazing listen all the same...thanks for another hit!
