Virtual voice has no emotion which takes away from the experience. The book itself was good.

I love these stories. Supernatural creatures and humans
I loved that the reader had affliction in its voice, not monotone like some of them (that is a true turn off to listening). I love the idea of a lifetime mate. I wish everyone could find theirs.
