Biden fans will love it

I really enjoyed this book, having followed Joe Biden since I was a kid. Growing up in Delaware, I campaigned for Joe in 1972, delivering fliers on my bike. It is a heartwarming story of family, love and watching out for one another. There has been a lot of heartache in the family, most of it lived out on the front page of a newspaper. It was great to hear another side from Valerie's point of view as well as her fierce loyalty to Joe and his boys.

Valerie is so graceful and elegant while sharing her story with us! I admire her courage and the fierce loyalty to her family.

Moving and Inspirational

If only everyone had a sister or family member like Valerie Biden Owens. Definitely loved the book, and learned so much about the Biden family. The better angels won in 2020.

Great insights

First as a first generation Irish Catholic, I related to Valerie Biden’s stories. I don’t agree with all of Valerie or President Biden’s views, but feel he is an honest, caring man of integrity. Thanks for sharing this Valerie.

What a treat to hear the sister’s take on all that is happening. It is inspiring and what we need just now. Honor, compassion, loyalty do exist.

Just an ordinary family with grit

I really enjoyed Growing Up Biden and so glad I voted for Valerie Biden Owens' brother, Joe Biden. The memoir was heartwarming, funny and informative. They were just ordinary people with drive, pride and purpose. This is the first audiobook that I listened to from the beginning to the end. I hope it becomes a bestseller. I admire Valerie. I thank her for letting me into the family. I hope her brother runs for a second term and eliminates all this QAnon crap. they are destroying America with the propaganda.

A really great book

A fantastic book that I found to be developmental and maturative for a young man coming of age like myself. I found this book very saturated with great information about the Bidens and it seems to incubate them in such a way that they resemble even more so than they are currently, a prestigious and inspiring family. I found this book illuminating and worthwhile to have “read.” I further highly recommend this book.
