A joyful experience
I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. The writing was so descriptive and elaborate. The story never lagged or got stagnant. It stayed jovial the whole time without being childish. For a comedy it actually held great substance and showed strong archetypes of our humanity and reflections through alien encounters to see where our race is at. The depth it touches at times into the expanded self also leaves me very curious to see what the sequel will bring. This book touches on fun, humor, spirituality, politics, the human psyche, human connection, and so much more. Definitely worth a listen to bring some light hearted, but still thought provoking, energy in.

Top Notch!!! What a great story
This was a remarkable story, and I loved every bit of it. An average joe becomes not so average and leaves you wanting more. The Narrator does such an excellent job that I know have his voice baked in my head for these characters. Can't wait to read the next ones.

Comical & Quirky
This story was a fun step out of my normal TBR lineup. Author has great imagination and vivid descriptions. The story was full of witty and quirky humor, and a great choice for something a little different.

Don't skip this 5* review!
I love picking up unreviewed titles! You never know. The casual nature of the story, with a very likeable and interesting MC, subtlety hides a story with deep meaning and resonance. It's funny, action filled, intriguing and thought provoking. The writing is excellent as well, with brilliant narration! I look forward to more Jack Gripper novels.

Loved it
Brilliant first effort Steve Heiman!!! It was a wonderful, griping narrative throughout! And Joe Conley Golden is a narrator I will be looking for more and more on Audible!
