I am a beginner at gardening, as I have never received formal instruction before, except for a little bit in school, but I never had the opportunity to practice. I learned the importance of controlling temperature, humidity, and light with simple tools. It's essential to know when to water the garden, as excessive watering can overload the soil and prevent healthy growth. Growing my plants is a win for me, as I don't have to do much grocery shopping. It's fun, and I'll do it with my wife and kids, who I know will enjoy it. It's great exercise and fun for the family. I am definitely one of those people that thinks they have a green thumb but finds out very quickly that I don’t have one. But I want one, and this audiobook has shown me how to get it. Right from the first chapter I was hooked - it’s a great idea to put a plan on paper so you can see what’s possible.
This audiobook is very well organised and structured and it’s easy to follow for beginners like me. It discusses setting a budget, the importance of watering, how to care for the soil, climate control, and most importantly, tips on how to plant herbs and vegetables correctly for each season. It also discusses how to construct the greenhouse properly to the size that fits your area, which is something I certainly would have struggled with. I’m hooked now, and I highly recommend this audiobook – my son is getting one for his birthday
