What would have made Great White Doctor better?

I don't know Mr. Ziegler but he is the worst professional reader I have ever heard. He mispronounces words. There is no change in inflection between characters. Overall his reading destroyed the total story.

The absolutely worst narrator I've ever heard!!!!

The problem with this audio book lies solely with the narration. The reader sounds like he didn't get past the 5th grade in school. Actually, I know 5th graders who can read a complete sentence with more tone and inflection than this man. He has pronounced so many words incorrectly I'm beginning to wonder whether or not he knows how to read and speak English. As for the story itself, the premise is good and the characters are reasonably interesting. I think I'm going to give up and read the rest of it in print (I hardly ever do that). My best advice is to stay away from this narrator in the future. I hope Audible reads this and reconsiders using him to narrate their books.

What made the experience of listening to Great White Doctor the most enjoyable?

The set up is very believable . The path to success in the medical field is all about money .. It is a business . The patient is the victim.

Would you recommend Great White Doctor to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes .. it is a portent of the future if we do not mend our approach to health care in this country.

What didn’t you like about Kirk Ziegler’s performance?

Obviously, Mr Ziegler is not a native New Yorker , he did not pronounce most of the colloquial Jewish words incorrectly . He often mispronounced other words as well . Did anyone from Audible listen to this book ?I found his performance took away from the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole story makes me think twice about suggested procedures and are they really necessary for health .. especially womens' health .I know the book is fiction , however the premise seemed very plausible .

Any additional comments?

Since I am a New Yorker , I would be glad to reread with the proper accent .
