Younger listeners will learn many interesting facts about the cosmos, whereas the older listeners will have fun refreshing their knowledge about nature and its laws. The main characters of the book, three young children, travel the space on an imaginary starship. They learn important information very fast since they are actively playing and experiencing everything. Involved in experiments and adventures, the children ask their own questions, come to their own conclusions, and truly enjoy themselves. This science fiction is written with children’s desires, goals, and great imagination in mind but can capture everybody’s attention.
Part 2 - Of Atoms, Gravitation, and Rays
Dear Travelers: In Part 2 of Great-Grandma Mittie’s Letters, we will pretend to be atoms and rays of light; doesn’t that sound like fun? After that, we will talk about gravity and then, to prepare ourselves for our adventures in space, we will learn all about our spaceship! Everywhere we go, we will have a lot of fun, and our adventures will be full of laughter, games, and surprises!
