Very entertaining

Hilarious protagonist. Interesting tale from the old guy. Almost belivable crime(-s). Not believable wolfs - go wolfes! Well read. All threads come together at the end - which seems to often to be rear these days - so thank you, Nick Pirog, for that.

Good read. Hilarious at times, but good plot and subplot. Good story telling. Enjoyed every word.

Chills, chuckles and tears

What a great story!! I listened to this entire book on a road trip. I just couldn’t stop. Great writing!!

Gray Matter

Am so glad I found this book, loved listening to it. Had lots of action and loved the characters. The narration was very good.

I couldn’t stop! I love the story and the hilarious wit of Thomas. Can’t wait to start book 3!

Still laughing out loud!

(Ok, I'm repeating myself on the reviews of the series books 2-4 but same take as the first...) While this book is not always "PC," I have to say I'm literally laughing out loud. I love Thomas' sarcasm, occasional self-deprecation, and his take on events around him. Storyline is good, and narrator does a great job. While certainly outlandish at times, the entertainment value and creative and fun way it's told makes up for it. I've been binging on all of the books in this series and sad to see there's only four.

This book was incredible start to finish. The writers humor had me laughing constantly. The ending was tearful but not expected. Great book

Fun listen

It took me awhile to get used to the style of writing and reading but I enjoyed the humor along with the mystery

Such a heartwarming ending

I listened to this audiobook twice, because I missed a few details the first time. The main story is great very captivating but the side story is what had me totally engaged. The happenstance of a strange old man calling your phone during a vulnerable moment of your life, you develop a relationship with that person and end with person revealing something that changes your life. Amazing!
