Most inspiring story of hope and blessings that’s out there
This story is amazing. I have a friend that knows Selah personally, and the work that selah and her family are doing all over the world is so inspiring. This book is so good, I could not put it down. I will be following Selah Godfrey’s work and helping her any way I can.

Disappointed.
Having known Selah and the family who sacrificed tremendously to bring her and her siblings here to TN. I was very saddened to listen her disparaging account of her experiences after coming to the states.Her adoptive family has been and still is loving, gracious , generous and selfless just for a start. I know she suffered greatly in Liberia , so it isn't surprising that her actions through the years may have been viewed as ungrateful as she described.I can say in all honesty that the depiction of events described as abuse , neglect or mistreatment by her adoptive parents was either greatly inflated or just untrue all together.
