No two people experience the same loss, whether it be death, divorce, miscarriage, or shattered dreams; just as no two people grow up in the same family. This book is for everyone who has known that pain.
Author Kim Goodman shares her heart after the most consuming grief she ever had to face - the loss of her oldest son after he ended his life at the young age of 22. She takes us on her journey of the devastating loss that could have threatened to consume her like a tsunami. She shares how we each process our loss in different ways. She teaches us how we can glean from each other and gain insights that help through the process of grief to emerge whole.
You will learn how Kim gained an eternal perspective that she did not have before. She reveals experiences, failures and successes that can help others as they apply the same principles while walking their path of loss. Full of wit and wisdom, The author, real and raw, opens her heart to help others that can relate to the overwhelming feeling of loss. Kim Goodman shows the most true side of grief I’ve ever witnessed in an author, confronting the incredibly powerful thoughts, hardships and adversity that comes in losing a son or any loved one. She also shares of her journey through the grief of losing Luke in an applicable way for all of her readers!
