Ok What the narrative doesn't tell you , I will try my best.

Natalia is Dating Vinnie Lombardi.
She doesn't have anything to offer the Lombardi family, like an influential last Name, Money , real-estate or power , So Vinnie's dad don't want them together, because there is no connection to benefit from the relationship with her.

Natalia breaks it off with Vinnie because of his cheating that he thinks is ok, and she will just be his mistress.

He don't want to let her go, After the breakup.
So he puts a bounty on her head.

Scared for her life, She turns to her childhoods very best friend GIANNA'S (GiGi ) MARCHETTI powerful Mafia Father CRISTIAN MARCHETTI for help.

Cristian's favors aren't cheap, He already has it out for Vinnie and wants Natalia to give him all the dirty deets on Vinnie in exchange for protection from him .

The thing that surprises me Is I am really not a fan of Age Gap romances, but This book is Actually Awsome. !

Cristians interactions with his son BENITO ( BENNY ) are actually pretty funny.

Benny and GIGi are great side characters.

BOTH Books are EXELENT as well .
In nook 3 it let's you in as to whats happening with GiGi as things are taking place in 1 and the end of book 2 . so its like the flip side of the conversation. Pretty cool .

These are all Stand alone books
you don't need to listen to all 3.
But Honestly you will want to , they are a really that good !!
They are not left as Cliff Hangers but , rather a Segway to the next book if you liked book 1.

The sex scenes were normal Just like I myself prefer.
Pretty Vanella .
No Anel ,no bdsm or kinky stuff .

If that's what you're looking for its not in this book.

This one seemed to focus more on the story which I myself preferred.

There were some pretty comical moments in mafia type book.

Cristian starts off real hard and uncaring, but as the book goes he shows his soft side towards Natalia .

Natalia starts of scard and Timid but then grows back bone .

the interactions between the two are captivating. 😊

This series has become my go to listens .

Just something I like.to add to my reviews are characters descriptions.

The female narrator was less animated than Virtual Voice

DNF though story was interesting though full of plot holes. Female narrator was robotic and tor thom sounded bored.
