Could not listen to this title as I am not fluent in German. Frustrating because I have heard great things about the story.

did not know this was in german!!
Would you try another book from Gillian Flynn and/or Christiane Paul and Matthias Koeberlin ?
probably but I will be more careful when ordering from audible.com
Would you ever listen to anything by Gillian Flynn again?
probably but most likely in English rather than repeatedly be Das perfekte Opfer

there's an English version out there somewhere and hopefully whatever sale price I fall for will include the foreign language caveat
