I found this book to open my thoughts and mind up to reaching out to My God for guidance in peace with things from my past. I feel better about myself now and moving forward.

Just what I needed

What did you love best about God Has a Plan for Your Life?

This is a message of love and hope. I was recently in a layoff from a job that I loved and found very rewarding. The loss of this job was a big blow to me. I felt like a failure, like I wasn't good enough. This book is just what I needed. It really spelled out what I needed to do in order to interpret God's plan for my life. It also reinforced something that I had lost sight of - God loves all of his children and has a plan for each of us!

Who was your favorite character and why?

There were no characters, but I did appreciate the short stories that Dr. Stanley incorporated into this book. Stories speak to us better sometimes than the message alone. I like the simplicity of the message. In this day and age where there is so much technology in our lives I crave the simple things in life and that includes an easy to understand message!

Which character – as performed by Gregg Rizzo – was your favorite?

Gregg Rizzo was a great narrator! He embodied the love and warmth of Dr. Stanley's message so well! I genuinely felt like this message was given just for me.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes and no. I did not cry but I felt an extremely profound peace after I had listened to the book. I know that I've been trying to walk with Jesus for a long time and I've always felt unworthy and yet I continue to feel his presence in my life over and over again. He truly is a loving God.

Any additional comments?

This book is only a couple of hours long but the message was so deep and powerful that it took me nearly 4 days to truly listen to it. Do yourself a favor and take your time listening to the message. Open your heart and ask God to help you absorb the message. Finally, let the message and God's love work in your life. All things are possible with God.

Jarring Dear Heavenly Father and I Thank You

I knew he was just waiting for me to wake up! AMEN! I loved the message and plan to buy the hard copy to make notes in the margin. I plan to submit a testimony to the website. I'm not sure of the character limit for this review so I'm about to handwrite the incredible amount of inspiration that I've been given. To say I'm having a rough time is spot on. I need a 2nd major back surgery and had the first a little over two years ago. I now need crutches to move in the morning and am in the middle of a divorce because my husband's abuse escalated from verbal to physical...yep! I had fully strayed from our Lord approximately 6 yrs ago. I wanted to know that my faith wasn't just because I was raised to believe but because I chose to. In my gut I knew that was just the right thing for me and I believed God would appreciate my need to find him in my own way. If not I knew I'd be forgiven. I now believe like the last chapter, I was being prepared for something big. Well, there's nothing like good preparation. I intend to use all the tears, pain, anger, and faith questioning I've had to help when God provides me the opportunity. My eyes and ears are wide open! Thank you so very much for the scripture and then messages that would follow. My grandfather was a Baptist minister for 35 years and how this book was layed out reminded me of his sermons. He was and is the best man I've ever known and listening to this book sparked many good memories of him and his tiny country church where my family grew up and learned to love God. Peace and love to all.

Excellent Audio

This is the 2nd audio I have listen to from Charles Stanley. I learned so much that will stay with me. Also I will definitely recommend this to others , he had a way to make you understand the verses of our Bible. I can understand and really be able too do many things. The narrative is excellent too, but get a 5star.

Timely read

I "stumbled" across this book and I'm glad I did. I have always enjoyed listening to Charles Stanley based I have found his sermons to be practical, clear and applicable to daily living. This book is no different and has certainly provided me with some much needed answers. I pray it will do the same for you.
