Excellent Book and Audio Performance
God Built - Joseph is a well written, clearly organized book on the sovereignty and providence of God. Intertwined with the story of Joseph and supporting scripture are historical example that provide practical, encouraging example. A great book for anyone struggling with the sovereignty of God.

How is God shaping you?
Another great book by Steve Farrar. Though not my favorite work of his, I did come away with several great concepts and thoughts that made this well worth the time and effort. The book focuses on the events in the life of Joseph and how God was in control all the time and using bad things to prepare Joseph for what God wanted him to do.

Necessary
life's not perfect; a story of Joseph shows us how we can be okay with that, just that God is in control and doing as he wishes. we just need to submit to that and carry out where we are currently to the best of his abilities working through us.
