Where does God rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Right up there with the other 3 novels written by Mr Chopra. Buddha, Jesus, & Muhammad. EXCELLENT pieces of work!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Job. His view opened a whole NEW avenue of seeing things from the "accepted" view

What about Deepak Chopra’s performance did you like?

It's indescribable actually. I just enjoy the ride when listening to his novels

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I have never done that with His novels. I get some in, then I contemplate

I enjoy the books about spirituality, but the novel are a DIFFERENT ANIMAL

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The stories are great and interesting

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Deepak Choprah is a great storyteller, but a terrible reader. It's sometimes impossible to follow.

Disappointing

I like Deepok Chopra and frequently listen and enjoy his talks. However, I didn't realize until this book how different reading is from speaking. The subject matter was interesting, but the narration was so distracting that I didn't finish the book.

Would you listen to God again? Why?

Yes, Deepak is very relaxing to listen to but sometimes the story is so detailed that I might miss absorbing parts of it. I would listen to it again. It is a spiritual journey with answers and questions. Very thought provoking and moving. It left me feeling more connected to God and feeling more understanding of God. I think it is a great book for those who are wanting to grow spiritually while living our daily physical life.
I listened to the whole book on a long road trip (both ways) It is long but I really hated to see it end, I was really enjoying it so much.
I love audio books and the ease of stopping where you want , making bookmarks, etc. This is one of those books you will want to listen to some parts over again.
I love the fact that the stories are from different religions and cultures and sometimes different ideas about God. I think it shows us how our evolution is growing toward understanding God better.

It's a long book and a lot to absorb at one time! I think it may work best to listen to a chapter at a time , stopping to reflect on each before listening to the next.

I listened to this as I received Chemo therapy and radiation for cancer. Nothing knocked me out quicker and kept me asleep longer than Deepak.
