Oh sweet delicious gifts!

Gifts like these are best served cold after all…or maybe in this case hot like a match? I am loving the background we get along with the ending. I feel like we’re starting to come almost full circle for some of the problems they all faced. I can’t wait to see how they tackle their upcoming problems! What they do to help each other and friends/family.

Addicted

I consumed this series so fast. I loved every page, character, and word written. It was so much fun to read. Great banter and spice of course. But also the found family, the redemption arc, the yearning, tension and everything in between. Highly recommend!

*~*~*~* 2025 Audiobook review *~*~*~*

This audiobook was the most emotional of the bunch and I wasn't shocked at all by this haha. This one had so many twists and turns and I won't give things away here but my heart ached and felt so full at the same time. I loved seeing Isobel with some of her mates and how they were there for her in ALL aspect but seeing more of them join the fray was so amazing. I have such a soft spot for Oscar Sato and this audiobook endeared him to me even more. Like absolute fav. This author did an incredible job with getting us to fall for all or most of these alphas so hard. I wasn't sure about Easton but he even surprised me with his reveals and feelings and his insecurities. AND ELIJAH REED....enough said hahaha.

On top of all the steam and swoon worthy moments we actual got some hilarity. I have come to really enjoy Bellamy and Sophia, they are so funny and bring the lighthearted moments we need with some really tough scenes in this one. Be aware of some of the trigger warnings, the story has to up the ante so we get more heart wrenching scenes, angry scene we all want to through our kindles with, but also so heartfelt moments. The adorableness of Lilly and Bellamy with those moments made me smile so hard haha. And scarily enough we even start liking Illy's dad....never thought I'd see the day.

I am so glad I listened to the 5 books before diving into the 6th and final because if got me so hyped and ready for this finale. I didnt want book 6 to end...more to come in that review shortly. Just know this has become my all-time favorite series, I will own so many special editions, all the audiobooks, and just will make a bookshelf probably of all the collectibles. I can't say enough about this series and am so grateful this author's muse came when it did for me. It's helped me a lot with some tough real world stuff, a huge escape for me. SO AMAZING I wish I could give this more than 5 stars <3

So get ready for the emotional rollercoaster of a lifetime! just when I think this amazing author can't up the ante she goes "challenge accepted" and knocks our socks off, while still battering and bruising are hearts and souls but somehow putting things back together, like when Isobel's soul artifacts are returned to her after they have been forcibly cut/removed. You have to trust the journey, it's all worth it. We get to see where the team left off with the threat to their lives, how the consequences of their actions explode for them and others who have helped them (or have been perceived/accused of). We get to see relationships get solidified even more, get our hearts healed with some resolutions, cry our eyes out with some hard scenes and emotionally high stress for Isobel and her Alphas. And the tension and steaaaaaam. I have been waiting for some walls to come down and it was so worth the wait. I am not going to go into anything here, but this part of the story isn't unicorns and rainbows. Remember Eleven is pretty much giving their government the middle finger and writing their own rules and they won't take too kindly to that. Just be prepared with the tissues, have planned breaks so you can breathe, have a cold shower at the ready (or a fan to cool you down haha). Overall another incredible addition to this Ironside adventure. I want to see how the author is going to tie everything together, there are some hard things the group needs to overcome and a lot more story and resolutions to go and we just have one more book! It's definitely going to be bittersweet, but I am so excited for 2025 and getting our HEAs (this author never skimps on that, so people again just need to TRUST THE PROCESS hahaha). See, no spoilers from me! I just had to vague book everything...you're welcome haha

Best of the series

This is a really creative and fresh feeling story, an amazing narrator who improved with every book. I'm shocked this series isnt more popular, definitely underrated! great writing, fun humor, sweltering romance and a plot that just doesn't rest, with something new to surprise you around every corner. I love that the author isnt afraid to make things happen in the story, some times it feels like other authors avoid some conflicts in the plot, for fear of not being able to solve it well. Great book, loved the rest, cant wait for the final installment.

Narration gets better with each installment!

This would be a great book all on its own, but Jennifer Sterling's narration takes it to the next level. She just keeps getting better and better with each installment, adding a richness and immersion that keeps me coming back! Jane Washington gave her something especially juicy to sink her teeth into in book 5, as we dive deeper into the characters' backstories and drive.

Absolutely phenomenal. Jane Washington has knocked out of the park AGAIN with this book!!! I’d read it on kindle thrice already since the release on 12/17/24, and I’ve been anxiously awaiting the audiobook because if the written words themselves lit me on fire, I KNEW the audio would be even BETTER. I now speak to you as nothing more than a pile of ashes because it was just SO GOOD (and, y’know, sexy as HELL).

I cannot praise this book enough and I can’t wait for the next installment this summer! 🥵😍😆

It just gets better and better and better!

I love that none of these characters are rushed or undeveloped. More of the MMCs get their backgrounds revealed. Each step towards Isobel is tentative but hearts are opening.

This book is set in France and a summer tour back I. the settlements. Braun Carter is back and becoming more understandable, which I never would've thought I wanted that. He was horrid up til now. I also adore Bellamy, honestly the wittiest of all the characters and also let's you see Isobel's free side with him.

I am waiting for the next book. Well done Hane Washington! Sometimes a series I've been enraptured with fall off by book three. This just keeps getting more interesting. I'm all in.

Well the spice definitely got turned on in this one! Also this one absolutely broke my heart. Getting to know all the guys more and watching everything slowly evolve is sweet torture!

Everything with Niko breaks my heart and makes me angry for both of them. I hate how it’s having him act and treat Isobel. But the fact that he literally came out of the wood work with his feelings and having been the most seemingly unaffected by her. To admit he wanted her, and was the one who thought he could give her everything she needed for the bond, just to have it ripped away was excruciating to read. In that scene with him, it was the first time I felt we really got to know him and I immediately fell in love with him. And then to learn they may not be able to repair it…ughhh I can’t. I love that they all came together to save her after. But I would have loved it more if each of them could have chosen it and had scenes like Nikos.

This series has gotten so much dark than I was expecting, but I’m loving how everyone and everything is evolving.

Love!

Omg I love this story! The book has a really great plot and storyline that moves at a great pace. Out of so many of these reverse harem books I've read I found this series one of the most fun and exciting to read. Fair warning it is a slow burn which was a bit hard to sit through for so long with all the tension. Not much going on until book 3 but the spice was well worth the wait! I find that with most academy/NA series the spice usually falls flat but this author did not disappoint! There is no MM and plenty more spice in book 4 and 5. Book 6 is not yet out on audible so I was disappointed getting to the end of book 5 to realize it wasn't the end of the series and that book 6 is coming out soon. I really hope author decides to add an audio version soon especially before I forget the storyline. While I would have loved if this book had a duet with a male narrator, I thought the FMN did a great job all on her own.
