As a medical examiner, seeing ghosts has its advantages. After being informed by a ghost that there is a mass grave in the area, Lance and Detective Angus Young feel the fallout. As one investigates the murders, the other investigates the bodies, both trying to piece together what happened. Luckily, the dead aren't all silent. As ghosts of the victims appear, clues to what happened start to come together. The only problem now is figuring out who the killer is and catching him before he strikes again.

And really, really smart. So I hired him to help me figure out what was going on.

Maybe I have an overactive imagination, but the hot guy next door totally gives off serial killer vibes. Why else would he know how long it takes to bleed out from a wound? I am loving this series, the gay issue is somewhat annoying , I mean its no big deal so far I just am hoping it doesn’t get to explicit. I have no problem with that lifestyle i just don’t think anyones sexual preference needs to be public knowledge. Other than that the series is truly fabulous.

Enjoyed the investigation
3.5 stars because, seriously? Book two and we are only in the kissing stage? I just can’t even. It was okay in the first book, but by now the relationship needed to have progressed. I did like the investigation and the interactions with the ghosts.

Excellent narration
Another hit for E. M. Leya. This was a good story. Still a slow burn in the relationship between Lance and Angus. That makes it heavy on the story, which is what I enjoy most. Looking forward to the next book.
