Not like her other books
I didn’t like this at all. I LOVED Lisa Taddeo’s other books so much. I should have looked into this one more before I just bought it -without knowing it was short stories. At least I think that’s what it was?? kept realizing that I hadn’t even been listening after having my headphones on with this book for long stretches of time.

Distracting Narrator Performance
Voice narrator was hugely distracting and made one of my favorite writers largely unlistenable. Couldn’t focus on the actual text due to her unnecessarily over-dramatized performance. Very disappointing. Will just be buying the book.
