Too fast for a meditation

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Maybe the content itself is good, but the things I was supposed to be visualizing were read to me in such rapid-fire that I couldn't take the time to savor them. It was not a quieting experience as a meditation or guided visualization should be.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Mostly I think the "story" was fine, except that in some places the things I was told to visualize were far too specific and therefore didn't apply to me...the image of a mansion filled with all the finest things...this is "not me" and so I was taken out of my attempt to be meditating because my mind balked. It didn't really cause much consternation because the whole thing was mishandled and not a good experience.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator has an interesting accent, which, had he been reading slowly, softly, giving me time to savour each vision, would have been a plus...but it was all too fast to feel in any way effective.

Key parts left out, visualization not read!

If you purchased one book or audio book you will know they say the same thing on the first few pages. What I'm miffed about with this audio book, it does not read all the way to the end of the book! It stops at the visualization.

The reader has a pleasant voice, it would have been better if he finished the entire book.
