the first book to bring a tear to my eye since I read Wired; the short life & fast times of John Belushi. it took the wind out of me I may listen to it again sometime

Very honest story

I liked that this was the unvarnished story of George, the good the bad and the ugly. The narrator was perfect.

Well written and well narrated. What more do you need? This book clarifies many of the stories we have all heard about George Harrison

What an achievement the Beatles made/so young,so determined,so far reaching.

I liked that the writer spent time on each of the Beatles,the group and ;of course on George-certainly the most egmatic.the Narrator has a great voice very easy to listen to. Certainly the “music mogals “ came off as the biggest deceiving crooks/not all, but- so so many. Also a reminder how dangerous and addictive drugs are/ and so many deaths related to drugs and alcohol.

Comprehensive overview of the quiet one

Through 16 hrs kept my interest enough detail to let the listener know the important points without getting boring or repetitive.

George had a complex personality.

He was not a Saint but very talented and creative musician. The author used several key events before, with and after the Beatles, Excellent narration and brought back memories of the time.

The vulnerability of the man and his family

Everyone needs to listen to this book. or read it if you prefer. it was so wonderful and so I opening.

A Deep Dive into the Life of George Harrison

Always a fan of George, I enjoyed this telling of his life story.
I began listening to it while I was home sick an had plenty of time in my hands. I was stunned to find that I had finished the book on the anniversary of his death. Thank you George.

Loved this biography!

I really enjoyed this biography. I am a die hard Beatles fan, with George being my favorite. There were lots of things I knew, but I learned a lot more. The epilogue was phenomenal. I've never read a better one. I recommend this book to anyone who is a Beatles fan.
