Revelation is the easiest book in the Bible to read and to teach—providing you have read all the books in the Bible that precede it! We noted at the very start of our study together that the Bible—in its final, finished form—is a unified literary work: The curtain rises in Genesis and it falls in Revelation. In between we have a linear narrative: God is the main character; sin is the conflict; redemption is the theme. Thus, reading Revelation is like reading the final chapter in a 2,000-page novel.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband."

The Minor Prophets are minor because they are shorter in length than the Major Prophets, not because they are less important: Isaiah is 66 chapters long; Obadiah is 1 chapter. All of the Minor Prophets write during the time of the kings, 1050 – 586 B.C., or after the return from Babylonian Captivity, 539 – 430 B.C. Most tell us when they are active. Hosea, for example, begins: “The word of the Lord that came to Hosea son of Beeri during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah…” (Hosea 1: 1).

Great Lectures
What a great idea to combine English lit with a bible study. He makes the bible so much easier to understand by differentiating the different voices as well as emphasizing the different punctuation places, correcting the mistranslated words and histories al background. Bible teacher par excellence.

Dr. Creasy brings the Bible to life!!!
It was an amazing and enlightening series of lectures about Genesis. Dr. Creasy brings the characters and events to life through geography and history. He takes an in depth approach to the Bible using factual historical events and geographical locations of each section in the Bible. It becomes easier to picture each story as an actual event rather than 'just a story' in the Bible.
He is amusing and keeps most of the lectures light and 'real.' There is nothing boring or droning about these lectures. He speaks clearly and makes these lessons understandable to anyone listening.
A must buy for anyone interested in understanding the Bible and applying it to life now.

The Beginning
Dr. Creasy makes Genesis come alive and learned things that I never knew about. The only complaint is that I wish I could have had access to the maps that he referred to.

If youre looking for a deeper understanding!
I looked forward to each chapter; each new bit of deeper understanding about how the Bible is truly woven together, perfectly! Dr. Creasy's humor and understanding of culture and events really brought Genesis to life even after reading a few times on my own. I've decided to listen to multiple books concurrently.
