When a broken leg and fair-weather friends leave Ben feeling lonely on Christmas break, he spends New Year’s Eve with Jordan, just hanging out in his basement like they used to, years ago.

But as the countdown to midnight happens, and the ball is about to drop, Ben has something else in mind. At the stroke of midnight, he kisses Jordan. What starts with a surprise kiss leads to a year of shared secrets, hidden love, relationship troubles, and broken hearts. Through it all, one fact holds true - Jordan loves Benjamin, and Benjamin loves Jordan.

But is that enough to carry them through when Ben wants to stay firmly in the closet...to the very point that this might destroy whatever hope they have of true love?

A surprise find

Good writing style, and an enjoyable listening

Beautiful Read

I had forgotten how much I loved this book. The author reading gives the words such a sweet energy. I’m so happy he created this. Dylan James You should be very proud. I can’t recommend this book enough.

not worth your time **********spoiler*************

the narrator was NOT good, ive heard worse but this must have been his very first time...…….and the story??? really???? I stopped listening when "ben" came out...…..Jordan was an absolute pushover.....ben treated him like hell, mocked him threatened him laughed at him and gay bashed him...…...and Jordan says oh well lets be boyfriends, there was NO consequence to bens actions and any normal person with an ounce of self respect would have written him off and never said a kind word to him again...…...so yeah Jordan acted like a girl, not like a guy at all, girls forgive and forget at the drop of a hat and say "oh he didn't mean it, lets get married and have babies!!!" and will let the guy treat em like crap over and over again, guys have a little less forgiveness and have a LOT more pride, even if its not deserved, theres NO way a guy would let himself be gay bashed made fun of and threatened and just forget and go back to his tormentor, especially when they didn't have much of any kinda of relationship before, they hadn't even been friends before. that is not how a highschool boy behaves especially in highschool where image is everything, that's the problem with MANY mm romance novels, the authors, usually women, write the gay character just like a female and just change the name...…. guys get angry and mad MUCH quicker and hold on to a grudge much longer, this book would have been great if Jordans name was Janice, cause that's how he was written.
