War never changes.
QR: Great war story, dark humor, good first person.
From the first 10 minutes in you'll be hooked, RC Bray voices this war story perfectly. If you've ever served, you'll catch a lot of references that'll make you laugh. Even if you haven't, there is just the slightest bit of dark humor to keep the action moving. I would highly recommend it if your looking for that action book fix.

Definitely worth your credit
This book is a great deal because you are getting the book 1 and book 2 of the series for a single credit. I preferred Legionnaire (Book 1) to Galactic Outlaws (Book 2). You jump right into action in Book 1 and it doesn't stop until the end of the book. All the events are narrated linearly. Book 1 is fast paced and easy to follow. Then in Book 2, everything changes... and the story flashes back and forth... and things are non-linear... and everything is chaotic... and at times, it feels like you are reading Star Wars... and at the end, things clear up. I am totally hooked on this series!
As always R.C. Bray does a phenomenal job of breathing life into these characters. Another 5 star performance for R.C.

Loved hearing the story again!
Wow. Reading the book was (of course) amazing. I am really glad that the authors snagged a professional audiobook outfit to bring the first two books to audio life. You’re gonna love it. RC Bray does fantastic work!

Epic
The story is fantastic and R.C Bray is the best narrator I've come across to date. (5 year listener) He narrates "The Martian" as well for all you space lovers like me... check it out.

Two For One Credit
A military sci-fi book that includes two stories which are heavy on action, but light on character development. I have listened to worse books.

WOW!!!
I love Sci-fi. I've listened to, and read a LOT of Sci-fi.
This is GREAT storytelling. Quite well written. Immersive!
There is of course, RC Bray, who is ALWAYS fantastic.
I cannot wait for the next book!

Lots of Fun!
These two books are a fun, fast paced space opera-ish, military adventure. I particularly enjoyed the relationships and dialogue between the Legionaries in the first half. I initially had my reservations about “Wraith” in the second half, but he is shaping up to be an interesting story line.
