Great read

Was a great story my only complaint was a few spots it would jump to a different character and it would take a moment to realize what had happened.

Hhumanizing Fulgrim

shows how kind and incredibly flawed one of 40ks many villians once were. it's pretty good!

Live & Learn

Showcase of Fulgrim's pride and competence, plus a bit of Fabius Bile. Not terribly substantial but worth a go if you're looking to flesh-out your understanding of the pretty perfectionist purple legion.

Better than the other Fulgrim novel

Enjoyed the story a lot, lots of dialogue compared to the more fighting heavy books that are under the Horus Heresy umbrella.

Highly recommend.

If you are looking for what Fulgrim was before the Heresy this is the novel.

Space Marine bantering for the win

I was surprised on how much I liked this book I even though fan really an emperor has children fan but the way they made the Space Marines and even fulgrim go back and forth in like a actual human way was awesome. it felt like these were actual people oh, the way they would bust on Fabious and just the interaction in general humanized the legionaries. I definitely would recommend this book it had a good story it shows the flaws of fulgrim but also his strengths it's def a good one. some of these primarch books have been stinkers but this is up there with the Magnus one for me.

An interesting story about a demigod with a problematic life! I can’t wait to read more of him!

Excellent heresy novel!

One of my favourite 30k novels and an excellent portrayal of Fulgrim. Could have expanded some of the supporting characters some more, especially the astartes. I really enjoyed Keebles performance as well, especially his version of Fulgrum, though both Pike and Fabius was a bit annoying to listen to.

Best primarch story yet IMO

I liked the look at the Phoenician and seeing a little insight into how he aimed for perfection. He doesn’t have any of the father issues of his brothers but instead is haunted by a desire to prove his worth.

Fulgrim at his most arrogant and most human

A very good peek into Fulgrim and the way he and his Sons think and feel about the universe around them. Johnathan Keeble does a great job of voices and reading the story. Highly recommend
