Another Fantastic Ben Rehder production.
Slowly but surely Red and Billie Don have taken over the Blanco County mysteries but that is okay. I used to think I wanted to grow up to be John Marlin but I realized that I am actually closer to Red and Billie Don. These novels are hilarious and fun. My only complaint is that Ben Rehder doesn't write nearly as fast as I read or listen.

Another hit!
Great as always! Red and JW always make me laugh! Lord — they can take a simple situation and and just imagine Their own minds solution to the situation. Usually they are 360 degrees in the wrong direction!

This was really interesting
Lots of twists and turns in this story. The Characters were well developed and we'll represented. I def enjoyed it. The Narration was done very well too.

Intriguing listen
In all the crazy in this story, I felt empathy for many of the characters. Garrett was definitely one of them. He was wrongly judged by many. Albert was just a hapless victim of circumstances and already paid his debt imo. and he deserved peace. Some people were just too evil to make it out alive ir unscathed. Marlen and all his close call so far are giving ne heart attacks!! What an ending! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Confusing plot
The storyline was interesting but it just got very confusing very quickly Too much back-and-forth. No break between scenes. No conclusion at the end of the book
