That little girl became a young woman who discovered that her capacity for tenacity would take her places she couldn't imagine and get her out of things that tried to bury her under emotional mental health issues that almost took her out. She's been through so much but she made it out and this book is the journey of a woman, born on the "wrong side of the tracks," who should have been satisfied being a mother and a wife. But when life gave her lemons, she gave life a doctor. This is the story of Dr. Latasha McIlwaine, a mother, a daughter, a clinician, a therapist and woman who would not give up!
