The narration though
I had to restart this book no less than 5 times & had to repeat chapters multiple times. The narration is not bad. Don’t get me wrong, she reads well but it is so unbelievably monotone that it would just slowly become background noise until I’d realize a couple chapters had gone by & I wasn’t paying attention. It was very frustrating. I can’t carry on with the series if the same person is narrating.
