Awesome

I love Rory and her guys. Foul Conjuring has Rory's birth mother in this picture and she doesn't know if she can trust her or not. Even with all the obstacle's showing up you know Rory and her guys will work together to try to over come them.

Good book

Great book full of emotion, action, and suspense. The characters are very well written and the storyline keeps you interested until the end.

gets better

gets better with each book. In this one Rory's mom is back so everyone is adjusting that and on top of that Rory and guys are trying to "save Connor as he was spelled to turn against Rory.

I love love love this series I own them in ebook and the audio🤯🤯 wow they do an amazing job bringing the characters and story to life!!❤️

Mother Issues!

Well Rory officially has her mother back but it's not all sunshine and roses. Rory will discover why her mother was such a powerful Barron in this book.

The Barrons are scheming up a storm in this book. They are targeting the scions and the naries. Rory must find a way to protect everyone while still trying to learn her own magic. At least she has a breakthrough with her new mentor and will finally be trained the way she deserves to.

The scions are still being targeted big time be the Barrons. I can't believe the things they do to their children. The scions relationships with each other are tested in this book. I foresee a war between the naries and the mages.

As always Meg and Stephen do an amazing job narrating and bringing this book to life. I can't wait to see what Eva will throw are the characters next.

Ooe the plot thickens

I am totally hooked on this series, what has Rory's mom gotten up to now... Especially since she has learnt her mother is not that different from the other Barons on how they treat their heirs.

Spectacular

Another spectacular and riveting read that will keep you glued to your reading chair! Nothing is as it seems and one has to wonder just how Rory and her fellow scions will take down the barons! This is filled with heat, heart and at times even hate. The scions come together to face more challenges and more physical attacks. I've never wanted to see the baddies taken down quite so badly before! There is a moment, a perfectly executed scene that finally gives us a touch of justice, but will the cost be more than Rory is willing to pay? I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next edition! No one does suspense quite like Eva Chase! She is the queen of suspenseful scenes!!

My heart!!!

I knew book 6 was going to break my heart because of the unknown with Connar but boy was I not ready!! He was one of my favs (along with Jude) so this was a big hit to my feelings but I knew things would turn out ok because Eva wouldn’t do us like that haha. I wont go into specifics because I don’t want to ruin it but the way Connar is manipulated is devastating and really hard to read after knowing how close he and Rory got. Loved how the others came together to destroy the hold on him and get everyone back on track. I ended up listening on and I was happy to see the person who did it to Connar get their just reward hahaha.

I loved the sexy scenes in this book, not gonna lie! I loved the group event and was sad Connar wasnt there but I really enjoyed their dynamic and how everyone was included, and Malcolm shows his tentativeness until Rory made sure he knew he was welcomed. And I have to say, the power the two can do that is faux touching is really hot (I would be mush if that could be done in really life, such a turn on haha). I liked how Rory and the guys opened up with one another, growing more as a pentacle but as a family.

Other things that were a highlight was Lillian finally getting some karmic justice, exciting to see Rory’s mom continue to spiral (made for a good plot). I think the hardest thing to listen to, which made me stop because I was getting emotional, was how Rory’s mom treated her/punished her. I am glad it wasnt all in vain, since she gained some allies along the way.

In terms of narration, I thought the narrators did a fabulous job as always. No complaints from me. I could feel the angst, pain, and love throughout the audiobook. 5/5 from me, these 2 are definitely on my 1-click narrator list.

Definitively recommend this series! This was probably my least favorite of the series, just because of what Connar was going through, but still a 4 stars! Already finished the series so gonna go review 7 and 8 shortly ❤️

love Rory

I have been reading and listening to this series, and each one just keeps getting better and better. I love the dynamics between all of the characters and how they are working together more and more. The growth of Rory into her powers is amazing.
I can't wait to start on the next one

Next please!

I have become so addicted to this series. I love Rory and how strong she is. She fights for what she wants and she will not let anything in the way of that. The other Scions will do whatever it takes to help her in that quest. This book always breaks my heart because I love Connor so much and it hurts that he was hurt in such a way. The narrators, as always, have done a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and truly enjoy listening to their performance of the book.
