Acerca de esta escucha

Hockey is everything. My game, my team—that's all that matters. But an accident during the playoffs leaves me sidelined and puts my future in question.

With my teammates off enjoying their vacations, my only plan this summer is to heal and come back stronger than ever. No distractions. No babysitters. I want to be left alone.

Unfortunately, Everly Kent has never cared about what I want or need.

She barges in like a storm. Stubborn, sassy, beautiful. I don't want her in my space, but she's determined to take care of me.

Before I know it, she's under my skin in the best way possible and I'm bending all my rules for her.

Including one I never thought I'd break: falling for my teammate's little sister.

Jack & Everly 🩷

I put off listening to the last of the Wildcats series because I truly did not know if I could handle it ending… welp, I finally finished listening and I am sobbing!!!
Rebecca did such an incredible job with ending this series in the best way possible! I was so worried that Everly being so young in the previous books may make her relationship with Jack weird but the age gap and friends (frenemies) to lovers WORKED 👏🏻
I laughed, swooned, cried, and fell for this found family even more!!! I 1000% recommend this series 🤩

FINALLY Jack and Everly=Perfection

Forever Wild is the book I’ve been waiting for since the Wildcats series began and it was so worth the wait. Jack and Everly are pure perfection!! I couldn’t get enough of their push and pull relationship and how well they complemented each other.

Everly has always been a spitfire who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself while Jack is the grumpy hockey player who she always spars with. Newly graduated, she’s trying to find her path in life without disappointing those she cares about. With everyone gone for summer, she finds herself spending time with an injured Jack and the more time they spend with each other, the more the sparks begin to fly.

The audio was narrated by Sebastian York and CJ Bloom. They were perfection as Jack and Everly. Sebastian’s deep, growly voice was so good for the grumpy Jack and CJ showcased all of Everly’s sass and feistiness. I had so much fun listening to their performance, and I think it made me love the story even more.

Jack and Everly were so much fun. Their banter was full of electricity and the tension between them was explosive. I loved watching them become vulnerable with each other and really becoming friends. Both grew so much throughout the story and Everly really came into to her own and figured out what she needed in her life. With Everly’s help, Jack learned that there was more to life than hockey. These two are absolutely perfect for each other and I loved watching their relationship develop. I’m so sad to say goodbye to the Wildcats, but I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.

An outstanding performance on audio that elevates this final story of the Wildcats hockey series!

I LOVE the Wildcats and this story was just an incredible ending to this series!! He’s the grumpy and protective captain of the hockey team and she is the sassy little sister of his teammate. Their story was emotional and sweet but also so playful and sexy! You also get all the found family moments incorporated into their story which was so heartwarming to see as they have all been a big part of both of their lives in the series. The whole book was just a perfect culmination to the Wildcat Hockey series and the added glimpses of those Wildcat babies made it even sweeter!

Jack is the captain of the hockey team and gets in an accident at the end of the season that leaves him injured, but he doesn’t want help recovering. Everly just graduated college and is house sitting for the summer, so when everyone leaves town she is asked to check on him. Despite his resistance she is feisty and ends up at his house every day as he has the best pool in town….

AUDIO REVIEW:
The audiobook for this one is a dual narration by Sebastian York and CJ Bloom. Their performance was SO fantastic as Jack & Everly that I ended up listening to it twice in a row! Their voices showcased the tension and chemistry between Jack and Everly while capturing their personalities perfectly! This is one you want to listen to on audio to experience this story even more!

I will say that at first I was worried Sebastian’s voice would be too low to fit Jack’s character I envisioned the whole series, BUT he proved me wrong!!!! His deep voice showcased Jack’s age as an older athlete while also capturing his grumpy demeanor due to an injury. Then there is CJ Bloom whose light, upbeat tone brought out the vibrant personality of Everly. She even has that younger, yet mature tone to her voice that helped to solidify their age gap in the audio. Her voice is so pleasing to listen while also bringing out Everly’s sass which was the perfect pushback for all of Sebastian’s grouchy banter as Jack with her! Overall, Sebastian and CJ brought the final book of this series to LIFE!!

LOVE Jack & Everly! Great Banter 🥰

This was the first audiobook I have listened to by Rebecca Jenshak and I'm hooked! CJ Bloom and Sebastian York were the narrators and WOW did they do a great job telling this story. They held my attention and kept me entertained from the beginning until the end. I absolutely loved listening to their voices.

Jack is the Captain of the Wildcats and his team and hockey are his life. When an accident injures him and ends his season he becomes grumpier then ever. Now it's summer and Jack is trying to heal up before next season. When Everly starts showing up to check in on Jack because her brother Tyler (Jack's Teammate) asks her to thinks start getting interesting.

Everly just graduated college and is staying at her brother's house while he's out of town. She wants to relax by the pool and enjoy some downtime before she leaves for her internship.

Jack and Everly were so enjoyable and I love all the fun banter between them. I had so many laugh out loud moments. This is the perfect grumpy / sunshine hockey romance story. You will definitely laugh and smile like crazy throughout this book. I would HIGHLY recommend this book.

Love Jack and Everly!

I could not wait to read this one and I was so excited when I heard that it would be about Jack and Everly! I just loved them!!
I adored this entire series and so sad to see it come to an end but it was a fantastic end with Jack and Everly.
I loved their entire relationship! How it went from Jack being grumpy and Everly not putting up with his attitude to somehow building a friendship to then more.
The banter between these two was everything. The tension, the angst and chemistry!! I literally ate it up.
I loved how sassy Everly was and Jack had always had my heart! His growth was great and learning more about him and his life made me understand him more. Everly was so great and Jack and they really were meant for each other.
The growth between Jack and his dad’s relationship throughout the book was really touching and Everly was so supportive.

Audiobook: CJ Bloom & Sebastian York were perfection! They are two of my favorite narrators so I was so happy they were doing the dual narration of this book. I didn’t want to stop listening and they were great as Jack and Everly.

Forever Wild: Wildcat Hockey Book 5

🎧🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧🎧

I came close to starting from the beginning with this series when this ALC landed in my library, but I didn’t have the time. *sad face* I wanted to because I really enjoy Rebecca’s style and voice! I met her writing back in 2020 and when I became and audiobook junkie back in 2022 and she had some of her backlist stories available in Everand, I binged the heck out of her books, some more than once!

Anywho, my gut tells me that I would have enjoyed this story a whole lot more if I’d *experienced* some of the background of both Everly & Jack, but especially Everly. There are enough snippets told to us as the story builds and unfolds that you may not even notice, but I did, and it just made me twitch a little bit. I’m just that kind of reader, and since I’ve only read/listened to one book in this series and that was 2 years ago, there were some circumstances/plot-points that I could have used more depth to appreciate them better. Make sense? It’s okay if it doesn’t because on the flip side, the twitch wasn’t enough of a twitch to even have me pausing or not enjoying what was happening throughout the story. So, there’s that :) I’m very caught up with my blogger duties going into 2025, so I’ll be binging the whole series by next week! *yay me*

So, about this story … 😍😍😍😍
✔️Relatable
✔️Organic
✔️Realistic
✔️Easy
✔️Sexy
✔️Funny
💜Absolute delight in my ears for 9+ hours!

I love that the story was emotional but not angst driven. Between Jack’s current baggage and Everly’s past baggage, this story could have easily gone down a deeply angst driven storyline, but Rebecca didn’t take it in that direction and instead took it down and uplifting organic road. Props to her for spinning it in that direction! I also liked a lot that the conflict, although predictable and eyeroll inducing, was also realistic and relatable. AND she didn’t use the teammate sibling arc as part of the conflict. MAD PROPS FOR THAT ONE!

🎧About narration … Sebastian York was the perfect pick as Jack. He has a deep voice that naturally flows for Jack’s character and CJ Bloom’s versatility made for a perfect, young in age but mature in life, Everly! Their performance was ridiculously good! 👏👏huge round of applause to them both👏👏!!

Loved this forbidden age gap love story!

Jack and Everly's forbidden age gap love story is the perfect way to conclude Jenshak's Wildcat Hockey series. This story had it all, fun banter, heartfelt emotions, their teammate family, hot steamy passion and more! I loved it all! Jack is the perfect team captain because he cares, and looks after everyone. After an accident, he is recovering at home alone, because everyone is gone during the off season. He is surly, and grumpy, and not in the mood to look after his father, or have any company. Everly has grown into her own over this series. She has graduated college, and spending the summer enjoying herself before starting her internship, away from the people she loves best. When she looks in on Jack, she knows he needs someone to care for him for once. He tries to push her away, but secretly loves having her light in his life. The more time they spend together, the attraction between them grows, and their chemistry is impossible to deny. Jack doesn't feel worthy of love, especially from his teammates much younger sister. Everly is smart and creative, but she isn't sure she likes her career path. They are both facing uncertain futures, but can they find their way together, or will their obstacles be too much, breaking them apart and their hearts? Jack and Everly are so perfect together, and their chemistry is explosive. I loved seeing Everly as the woman she was meant to be, and how she helps Jack to let down his guard, and let others in past his walls. I also love the way Jack takes care of everyone, but he shows Everly that she is a partner, not a burden. Ms. Jenshak portrayed life with all it's complications, joy, heartbreak, and pleasure so beautifully. There are so many intriguing facets to their story that held me completely captive from start to finish. What a perfect ending to this fun, exhilarating, emotional and steamy series. I have grown to really care for all the Wildcats and the women who challenge and love them. I am sad this series is done, but so happy I was along for the ride!
Narrators CJ Bloom and Sebastian York were fantastic. Bloom effortlessly brought out the lively, loving, and vulnerable, Everly. York's smooth, deep voice that perfectly characterized the surly man hiding behind a wall of obligation, fighting to unleash his generous, tender, loving side. Both performances were pure perfection and I was completely lost in their storytelling. I absolutely loved this heartfelt, hilarious, and sizzling romance!

Amazing Ending to This Series

A MILLION STARS FOR JACK AND EVERLY!!

I can't tell you how excited I was when Rebecca revealed this couple... I feel like I have been waiting forever for Jack to get his HEA, and no one else could be his match. Everly is perfect for him, and you can see that through the series. Rebecca writes some of the best sports romance that will draw you in and will make you want so much more.

This book held my heart the entire time. I love these two together. I enjoyed the sass that Everly has, and she doesn't back down. She can go toe to toe with anyone! Her tenacity is something special to read about.
Jack is all the broody player we all love. I am a lover of the quiet ones who take care of everyone else. Jack is the kind of man you will love and adore as much as I do.

Sebastian York and CJ Bloom narrate this book, and I could not have been happier with the final work. Both narrators are the perfect voices for Jack and Everly. Sebastian has that broody tone that is perfect for Jake. And CJ can master the sass of Everly. This duo has such a great combination of tones that capture this story.

I am so sad this series is over!! It has been a favorite of mine since the first book. I love these characters and their stories.
If I could, I would stay in this world FOREVER!
