Ex-Fiancé's Father

Natalie seems like she has everything, she just finished law school and it is about to be married. But just before a trip with her fiancé and his family, he openly hits on the waitress at dinner, she realizes this is not what she wants and breaks the engagement. Instead of going home, she heads out for drinks and meets a man that sparks a passion her, that leads to a wonderous night.

The next morning it quickly comes to light he is her ex's father. Now she is stuck on a boat with the man she wants to be with and his son. What will his son do when he finds out?

The narrators did a good job with the portrayal of the story.

Forbidden love is a double edged sword

Forbidden Fiancé by Ashley Sands is an amazing story. Rosalina Grace and Sebastian Gill did an amazing job with the narration, they bring the characters to life. The story is not my usual listen but I like it all the same. The story is interesting, entertaining,and fun. Natalie falls for her exs. father and then the exs. Find out and want to ruin together their lives. Well Ethan the ex-fiancée get revenge on his father and Natalie? Will they work things out? Listen to find out those questions and more. Interesting story

This is the first book in the Forbidden Romance series. This is an interesting age-gap romance. Good narration, but the sound quality needs some improvement. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Finding love in unexpected places

This is book 1 of Forbidden Romance and is a standalone story. I liked how the story started out with Natalie meeting a handsome stranger and spending the night. Little did she know that they had more in common than just their chemistry. This is a love triangle with Natalie stuck in the middle. The author is a weaver of stories that captured my attention and held it until their happy ending.

I really enjoyed listening to this story. I got hooked right from the start. So good. Y'all are gonna love it too. Happy reading.

Spicy Story, But the Narration Had Issues

There were a lot of recording issues with the FMC’s narrator—background noises, volume inconsistencies—it was seriously distracting.

That aside, this might be one of the most accurate “I’m with my ex’s dad” books I’ve read because the dad is literally just an older version of his son. He could not care less that she was once engaged to his daughter (giving major Ross/Rachel ‘were we on a break?’ energy). And yeah… Daddy Dearest? Problematic as hell—hot as all get out—but so problematic. There’s also a terrible third act breakup that dropped a whole star for this book, so unnecessary.

Forbidden Fiancé is a good listen and the narrators did a good job with their reading. I totally enjoyed the male narrator whose background was clear and devoid of background noise that wasn't distracting. The characters were interesting and so was their chemistry. I felt that the son of the main character was overly spoiled and irritating. Now, the story was okay, but I felt the story was more about sex than anything. I love reading a good steamy romance but this sounds more about sex and the cloudiness of being intimate that makes them tumble into love immediately. I didn't feel the love. The MFC was with the son, broke up with him because of his constant disrespect, flirting and selfishness. She meets the father at a bar, goes home with him and tumbles between the sheets - instantly falling in love. She jumps from one engagement to another.

Luke and Natalie

The narration was good. I did struggle a little with the female as there was a lot of background noise. Otherwise they were really good. Natalie and Luke meet and have insane over the top chemistry. After having the best night of her life with Luke she realizes her connection to him. This sets of a series of crazy events but the connection between these two is unbreakable. I enjoyed this 4.5 star forbidden romance.

Fast paced forbidden romance with ex's father

Natalie was engaged and supposed to go on a cruise with her fiancé and his family. Natalie breaks up with that fiance'. Afterwards, Natalie meets a man she's very attracted to. Eventually Natalie gets on the boat to realize her new lover is her ex- fiancé's father, Luke. The cruise does not go well. Natalia's ex wants revenge on her and Luke. This ex tried to find anything to keep Natalie and Luke apart. This story moves fast, doesn't have a ton of plot, but it's relatively short and contains instalove. There are not any cliffhangers.
