Amazing read, highly recommended

This book is so well written. I am not a survivor of SRA myself but I believe the stories of survivors and my heart is heavy for those currently in the grips of this very real, very severe abuse and trauma. Charisse, you did an amazing job with writing this in a way that it can be understood and felt by someone who hasn’t experienced what you’ve been through. The healing through Jesus is astounding. He can heal the deepest of wounds and our Father will judge these perpetrators fully and justly. Thank you so much for this book. It is an amazing tool for those that have a desire to support “the least of these” and understand better what severe pain and trauma does to a person.

Well written

Loved it. A very hard subject to comprehend, but necessary to understand. This book does a phenomenal job of capturing the reality of SRA.

Although not ultra graphic, this is an honest autobiography portraying the journey to recovery for a victim of SRA abuse. It took great courage to keep pressing on in the midst of all the emotional pain the author endured. I thank God that He continued to give her courage to keep going back to the counselors, even when they abandoned her too, to keep looking for Jesus’ rescuing arms in the midst of such torment. It took so much to believe the only True One after what a false teacher taught her to believe about Him. May Father God Bless you immensely for sharing your journey to His rescue so that others may be encouraged to do the same. I pray that this book will be read by many whose memory will be sparked and that they too will find freedom by being broken out of the chains that have bound them and will have their broken hearts healed as an end result.
Although the narrator has a great reading voice, and probably wanted to lighten up a hard story to hear, I thought that the depth and intensity of feeling portrayed by the author was, in several very serious sections, not captured by the happy voice of the narrator.
