Is America at war?
It is the summer of 2016, and Pastor Maggie finds herself challenged in unimaginable ways. A national election is dividing the country, the city of Cherish, and Loving the Lord Community Church into splintered factions. To complicate matters, she is working with a local business owner to resettle a refugee family from Syria, but not everyone is happy to see the new arrivals.
Maggie tries to guide her discordant flock but careens from one crisis to another. She knows that much good happens in a community where love and kindness reign, but how can she possibly overcome the judgment, divisiveness, and hate that permeates her parishioners and the nation? Can she hold her flock together through the storm?
In this fourth book of the series, the determined young pastor must marshal all the patience and fortitude she can to hold the vision of a harmonious and loving society.
