Better than I thought

I admit I purchased this book b/c it was on sale. When I first started listening, I thought for sure I was never going to be able to finish it. However, after the initial start of the story, it became much more interesting. I think the writer could have developed a few of the characters a little bit more, but that might just be my curious nature. Overall, I was very pleased with the story.

Interesting but not a page turner

This was much slower paced and introspective than I thought it would be. I think the narrative style left a lot on the table in terms of action or suspense.

Really a fan of this author

This is a great book, my second by this author. Well written and good story.

Captivating

This story was beautifully written. A haunting story filled me with joy and tears. I could not stop listening. The author and narrator weaved the story of growing and letting go.

Best fable I've ever listened to!

I listen to this book every year around Christmas. The narration is absolutely perfect and the story is a good happily ever after. It's an amazing story of love conquering all. Enjoy! 😊

Frozen with Anticipation

Amazing story of selfishness, forgiveness and love. I highly recommend "Followed by Frost" as a great story of finding love as it was meant to be - truly selfless. The author has a way with descriptive word pictures that bring the story to life. I felt the cold unyielding frost and extreme loneliness of the main character as she comes to terms with the person she was and the person she wishes to be.

Stunning performance for a stunning story!

I first read Followed by Frost a little over a year ago, and was wowed then by the beauty of the story. Haunting at times, and beautifully introspective, the author weaves a tale of loss and self discovery (with just a hint of magic) that I’ve read and reread half a dozen times already. I recently joined audible, and realized I could get the audiobook at a discount since I owned the book, so I thought, “Why not?” It was a good choice. The narrator is superb, and I truly forgot I was listening to an audiobook at times. I highly recommend this.
