Fødselsdagsfesten er en letlæst historie om at være næsten 13 år og føle sig lidt til overs, når ens bedste veninde har fået en kæreste, samtidig med at man måske også er ved at få en selv. Bogen er en selvstændig fortsættelse til Dobbeltdaten.
My og Freja er inviteret til fødselsdagsfest hos Anna fra klassen. Adam, som My mødte på Tivoli-turen sammen med Freja, må også gerne komme med. Men hvor vild er Adam egentlig med My? My er ikke helt sikker. Især ikke, da hun først er kommet til at sende ham verdens pinligste besked på Facebook.
