the details of fighting fires
I enjoyed the detail & how much I learned about the people who fight fires & the variots methods that are employed now verses the 1950's when my Dad's took me to oil fires in Texas.

Did not meet expectations
The story was rather boring. The characters went from barely tolerating each other to madly in love with very little happening in between. The female character seemed like a spoiled child.
