Thoroughly satisfying read
Fantastic to find a new author that is so talented. Loved all the clipper ship books. Wasn't sure about the shaman series but so glad I gave them a try. Easy to get involved in Otto's life and all the drama on the planet. Can't wait for the story to continue.

Good but not great
Worth reading, but not quite as good as the other solar clipper books/series. I felt like it was two books dragged out into three.

An excellent series
This is the second series I’ve read by Nathan Lowell. I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to read his other series. I highly recommend this series to anyone who wants a stimulating read.

Think
Love sci-fi. These are set in that genre but do not have the normal theme. They make me think. Great storyline and excellent readers.

seemed in a rush to finish
Throughout the 3 books, really got to like the characters and their world. Then in this-3rd installment, the writer seems to either loose interest, or for some reason looses track in his hurry to finish. Disappointed; Otto and all these other great characters deserve better! They would have made at least another good book instead of rushing to end.
