Amazing!!!!

This book was pure heart felt and boy did it make me cry. This story hits so close to home! Highly recommended this book!

Really enjoyed

A heartfelt story of loss and gain. Nothing that happens in this book is far from reality. This family makes the best of a sad situation. My heart is sad for the tragedy that falls on them because the father was trying to do the right thing. I surprisingly get very involved with this audiobook and couldn't stand to have to pause it. Its easily a book that you can power right through because it always keeps your attention. Good job!

Wholesome and sweet

This story is completely different than what I am used to but so wholesome, sweet, and heartbreaking. It’s a simple listen and storyline is beautiful. The narrator brings the characters to life and did a fabulous job. First time listening to this narrator and first work of this author I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Definitely recommend this to those who don’t want cliffhangers, angst, or plot twist. This is straight to the point and such a beautiful love amongst father/daughter, brother/sister who are like father/daughter and two lovers.

New author for me

OK wow.... I struggled at the beginning of this book getting used to narration... once I adjusted to her sound I easily fell into the fabulous story... it hit on some hard topics but it was a strong story.... I will definitely listen to more from this author.

Sweet heartfelt story!

This was such a touching story that makes you feel a range of emotion. I liked the narration. It was easy to keep track of who was talking in the story and her voice is easy to listen to. I would listen to more from this author.

I fell in love

I absolutely loved this story. I have never read anything by this author and I fell in love.

I enjoyed the characters and could not help but want to read more. It was a great story. It was emotional and kept drawing me back. I was sad when it ended.

Beautiful Emotional Story

This is a great story! Trent is amazing! He has struggled but stepped up and now he does the same for Ellie. They way he is with Allie is just so sweet! I can’t get over it. I really can feel his affection for her. Not to mention Ellie and her Dad. I love that father/daughter bond they have going on. Each of these character have a personal struggle to overcome. With the help of others they may just survive. Life lessons. This story has quite a few good ones in it.

We see this slow moving romance pick up in the latter half. We really get to know about what makes each of these characters tick and seeing them grow and move forward is wonderful. That way we can identify with the character and it helps bring out the *feels*. I loved all these characters! Everyone had a place in the story and definitely added to the whole book

This is a first time author for me. I loved her writing style. She really made me care for these characters and feel about their plight. I listened to this on audio. The narrator did a wonderful job! I loved the emotion she put I to the reading. I even teared up a time or two. Now is that due to narration or the words she is reading? I would say both left me emotional.

Searching

This story reminds us to live life to the fullest and sometimes a cure is not here on eartth.but in heaven. It also urges us to make a difference in someone or lots of someone's lives. It is the legacy we leave behind for our family once we are gone. I received a complimentary audio and this review is voluntary.

I believe she found something better than a cure .love family and a guardian angel.
I loved the story it's soft and full of emotions the narrator is great too ,her voice is so calm .

This story is a bittersweet story of tragedy and how we face those challenges. At times it was difficult to continue due to the subject matter, but I'm glad I did! Hope and Love for the win. The narration was perfect. She really brought the characters to life. 5 stars!!
