As you can see I LOVED this book and all the Wonderful places Sally took me, both with the Good and the bad!

I also think that Sally is a VERY Brave gal in admitting her forays into the Mystic sciences!

How many of us haven't wanted to put a Hex on someone?

I think that the New age sciences are a another form of study in helping us open the door of learning So Much More about our world and will contribute so many more possibilities of advancement to humanity and civilization!

If you're against this believe, fine, I'm sure you would of called the Microscope and Telescope;the Devil !

Please Sally, write another book as Completely Honest as this one!

Disappointing

I looked forward to a great listening experience, focused on spirituality. Unfortunately, spirituality takes a back seat. Quinn's life story is somewhat interesting, but the number of names dropped became offputting. With the exception of John Tower, whose name is vital to the event, the book would have been better/stronger and shorter without most of the names. We all know she has known high-profile people.

Its a "Magical" Quigi Memoir

Admittedly, I bought the book based upon the excerpts which were published in the Washington Post. These detailed the time Sally Quinn dealt with the declining mental and physical health of her husband, famous Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee.

Sadly (for me) almost the entire book save for the last several chapters were about Sally's
atheism/spiritualism journey which was lost then found then lost and found again. This was interspersed with lots of ideas of magic and mysticism and some occult thrown in for good measure.

I was looking for a good read/listen about her life in journalism and being married to Ben
Bradlee and their son Quinn. This leaned heavily on "magic" (duh its in the title), spiritualism, occult and The Quigi Board.
