If you are a Christian and you are sick, then read on because this curated Bible verse soaking is for you!
I’m glad you’re here. Beloved, disease has attacked you. I don’t know if it’s a prolonged situation or you just found out about it. All I know is that sickness has no claim over you, your body, and your mind! See, what this disease is trying to do is attack is your identity. It’s trying to distract you from claiming the benefits of being the righteousness of God in Christ. Disease has no mercy. But, beloved, let me tell you something else - Jesus Christ is your savior, and he has broken the chains this disease has tried to put on you! God is sovereign and “It is finished!”
Sickness knows it can’t win. So, what it tries to do is distract you from your identity and convince you to struggle as a way of life. But, our great God gave you a remedy before there was a problem: His word!
“My son, don't forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my commandments: for length of days, and years of life, and peace, will they add to you. Don't let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart... It will be health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” (Psalm 3)
By meditating on the words of God, you give them permission to be life unto your flesh. You make Jesus the lord over your body. Find Your Healing in the Bible and Jesus’ Words is a word bath. It’s an opportunity to meditate on God’s word by listening to it and letting it sink into you without distraction.
