Investigation vs career

I enjoyed Lisa Regan's story told in this creative and suspense filled murder mystery. Yes it jumps from past to present, and even though I looked for clues on the criminal character, the story gave great insight into how the murderer was created. A few times I actually felt bad for the murderer, despite their bad moral compass and deadly results.
Kate Handford did a great job bringing characters ....no matter how privileged or mentally disturbed they appear to be.

I Never saw the twists in this one coming. Full of surprises until the end.

liked it a lot although it is pretty much predictable with only a minor twist. I enjoyed it anyway

Loving family is hard

In the small town of Denton, PA, police detective Josie Quinn and her long-lost twin sister, TV journalist & news anchor, have their first big fight...and Trinity leaves. 3 weeks later, Josie goes to the small cabin that Trinity has been renting and discovers that Trinity has actually been missing for a couple of weeks. When bones are discovered at the cabin, the team fears that Trinity may have been abducted by the serial killer labeled Bone Artist. It’s a race against time to find Trinity before she becomes a victim.
Another great story in the series. Love how this author weaves in the relationships between Josie, her team and her family. Definitely a re-listen.

The best yet!!

This book was the best one for me so far! I stumbled upon Lisa Regan and her Josie Quinn series . This book made me laugh, cry, think & had me waiting for the next aha moment! The narrator was amazing too. On to book 9, I’m sure she will not disappoint!

Wish I had started with book 1

This was a great listen…why I started this series at book 8, I have no idea. But it’s pretty easy to catch up on the back story, that being said, I wish I had started with book 1.

A couple of criticisms I guess…if you’re going to include detailed medical terminology to give validity to your writing, you should make sure the description is correct. The medical examiner mentioned the “medial clavicle” and then further described how that’s the end of the collarbone that attaches at the shoulder. However, that’s the LATERAL clavicle. It’s all in the details.

There were a couple of weird audio pauses and/or problems with the editing but this is easily overlooked.

Overall, I recommend.

Fast paced mystery

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t stop reading. Good psychological thriller.

I think I will try other Lisa Regan books. Enjoyable with several hours and unexpected twists.

I am so in love with these books. this one did not disappoint. I love the detail that goes into each story. wonderful book, finished in 3 days.
